SAVE IIT’s , IIM’s - SAVE INDIA

Friends, the decision to reserve 50% seats for backward classes in our premium institutes is no doubt disastrous, but the underlying implication is that our country which we love so dearly is not yet free.
Power has merely changed hands from the British to the corrupt politicians. On one hand we have the communal forces – the BJP, the Shiv Sena, etc and on the other hand the so called secular forces- the UPA who are destroying the face of India merely for their political gains.
We and our parents have been fooled by these politicians over the last 58 yrs. The time has come to revive our freedom struggle. The hour has come to achieve COMPLETE FREEDOM. Our struggle must not be restricted only to abolish the reservations in IIM’s and IIT’s. Such ugly issues will prop up from time to time. We have to uproot this corrupt system. This has to be done by no one else other than YOU and ME.
So, lets join hands, spread this message to all. We truly deserve a much
better India.

RESERVATION IN IIM’s AND IIT’s

The decision of Union HRD Minister, Arjun Singh to reserve another 27% seats for backward classes in our premium Institutes – the IIT’s and IIM’s thereby taking the overall reserved seats to 50% would prove to be disastrous to our Education System.
Considering the developing face of our country, I dared to dream of a RESERVATION FREE INDIA in the coming years. But this decision has shattered my dreams.
I’d like to share my experience- About six years back, I had been at an Institute, remote from the city to purchase my Engineering form. On my return, I sighted two girls with PINK coloured forms (the Pink form is for backward classes who purchase the same for half the price) drive away in two separate MARUTI ESTEEMs, while we – The General Category Students were curdled up – seven of us in the rickshaw as the driver waited to collect more passengers. The seven of us never spoke, but we just kept looking in disbelief at each other.
The founder and director of IIM-B, Mr. N.S. Ramaswamy supports the decision saying- “Since the government has invested crores of rupees in building these institutes, it has a moral right to allow reservations…..”. I would like to counter his statement with one question- From where did the government get those crores of rupees?????.
Mr. N.S. Ramaswamy, I sincerely hope that you are not conducting any lectures at IIM-B if such is your knowledge of government funds.
